Chemotherapy describes drugs that are given to
treat certain types of cancer and can be given in many different
environments, including the home.
The SBH Medical Clinical and Administrative Team
are well versed in the provision of these drugs. They provide

Patient communication and education

Lab evaluation to include peaks and troughs
Drug dosing recommendation – upon request

All supplies, equipment and solutions will be
delivered to the home, taking great caution in the preparation
and disposal of these caustic medications. There will be a pharmacist
and nurse assigned to follow patient’s care and available
as needed. Together, the pharmacist, nurse and physician will
follow the patient’s clinical progress.
